🎓 A heartfelt wrap-up of our first batch of Level 1 Clinical Health Coach – and what's coming next.
At Qintensity Fitness, we've always believed that fitness professionals can do more than correct form or write workout plans. They can bring hope, confidence, and genuine health outcomes to people who need it most – especially the elderly and those living with chronic conditions.
That belief became a reality on 28–29 March 2026, when we welcomed our first cohort of coaches to the Level 1 Clinical Health Coach Certification Course.
Over two days (4 hours each), in the company of a pharmacist, a physiotherapist, a registered nurse, and specialist fitness coaches, ten dedicated professionals sat together to learn something new: how to work alongside GPs, nurses, and allied health providers in integrated care settings.

These are some testimonials from our respected coaches.
"This course showed me how exercise brings hope."
One of our coaches shared this after the training: "This course really showed me how exercise brings both physical and emotional hope to elderly clients and people with chronic conditions. Thank you Kitty, Kyle, Bond, Stan, and Neville – looking forward to more collaborations!"
That single word – hope – captures exactly why we built this course. For many elderly clients, a chronic diagnosis can feel like a closing door. But the right exercise prescription, delivered by a coach who understands medications, health history, and multidisciplinary boundaries, can open it again.
What made this training different?
We didn't just teach exercise techniques. We built a gateway for coaches to work confidently in:
- District Health Centres (DHCs)
- Residential Care Homes (RCHs)
- NGOs and social enterprises
- Integrated health centres
- Private organisations serving elderly populations
Introducing the faculty:
- Kitty (Pharmacist, Certified Primary Care Pharmacist & Clinical Exercise Specialist)
- Bond (Physiotherapist, Certified Lifestyle Medicine Specialist)
- Stan (Registered Nurse, Certified Dementia Care Planner)
- Kyle Liu (Co-founder & Head Coach, Qintensity Fitness)
- Neville Chan Yuen Hung (Multi-disciplinary Fitness Specialist)
Together, they delivered a no-silo, practical, and deeply human curriculum.

- Coaches seeking to become government-ready Health Coaches or Clinical-Ready Coaches within multidisciplinary teams
- Fitness professionals who want to work alongside GPs, nurses, and physiotherapists

Upon successful completion, participants receive Level 1 Certification and are ready to be plugged into a medical care team.
🔥 Next batch: September 2026 intake coming soon
Due to overwhelming demand (and a strict limited quota of 10 coaches per cohort), we are now preparing for our September intake.
Final thought: from coach to clinical-ready partner
The gap between fitness and healthcare is shrinking. The future belongs to coaches who understand medications, who can read a health history intake, who know when to refer back to a physiotherapist or nurse – and who bring hope through movement.
💜 See you in September.
